July Letters

02 July

Aloha Everyone! ok so this week was bittersweet. The bad was my comp elder Fa'amausili got sent home because  he had way bad diabetes and he wasn't taking care of himself. we all tried to help him and what not and president already warned him 3 times but i guess he just didn't care enough. he was a good elder though and i'll miss the kid. Haha so right  now I'm just kinda being passed around between the other elders until transfers in a couple weeks then i'll get a new companion. Earlier this week we went on a zone exchange. Every time we do zone exchange or zone always finds tons of miracles. That day we found i think 12 new gators. and lots of with dates. in my are me and Elder Ence found 6 new with dates! it was amazing. There Baptism dates are set for the 21st of july. So we're pretty excited for that. Keep them in your prayers. Its the 4th of July on Wednesday. i hear its pretty dry so they are being kinda strict about fire works. hopefully you all have fun though. I think we are going to a members house and having BBQ and watching fireworks. there backyard is the beach. ITs always a blast when we go over there. ALso we only work till 5 o clock! It should be fun though! well Thats all i got for you kids today. I hope everyone staying safe and Have a good Independence Day. Oh, Happy Birthday Madeline, miss you tons! OFa Atu and Aloha!!!!

ALOHA!

Its the last Pday before Transfers. this morning we woke up at 4:15
yes that says 4:15 to go see the sunrise. I was not a fan of the whole
waking up part but the hike and the view and the sunrise and the nap i
took after was great. I love Hawaii it's such a beautiful place.  This
week we had cottage meeting. Thats were we take investigators to the
mission presidents house and they get to hear the testimonies and
conversion stories of recent converts. cottage meeting is always so
good. We had some investigators go as well and our family of five is
still on track for baptism on the 21st. We're so stoked for them. They
are probably some of the most solid people i've taught out here on the
mission. Lessons with people like them and the spirit that is felt
there makes me love the mish. Don't get me wrong i love it regardless
but it's like the little cherry on top! Ok thats all i have to report
for today. We're about to go have a zone BBQ. haha all everyone wants
to do out here is eat. and it is starting to be a problem if you know
what i mean haha pray for the well being of my stomach! Haha ok you
guys are great. Mahalo for all the support you kids give me. I love
all you and miss you tons. Keep up the good work! im not sure what in
but you keep it up. Go get em team. Ofa Atu and ALoha! nick please
tell me if you get this and if you are still alive..... that is all

Well it was transfer week and boy was it crazy. Transfer week is usually so slow but this time we had a pretty good week. I got a new companion and his name is Elder Hayward and he is from Virginia . He's really funny so this should be pretty fun transfer. We are still working with 5 with dates i told you all about in an earlier email. I call them the Jackson 5 because i hate writing down all of there names. But the Jackson 5 will be getting baptized on Saturday the 21st. We're stoked for them. Also we got 3 new gators and we got a referall from one of the youth in the ward. turns out the refferral was someone that i thought was a member cause he comes the church all the time. but you had a super solid lesson. The lesson we had with him was one that made me love being a missionary. He's such an awesome humble kid. He's definetly been prepared! We also got 7 with member lessons. or standard of excellence is 8 with member lessons a week so we almost got it. and as a zone we got 32 new gators. August is gonna be a good month. But yeah so this week was pretty good. I hope you all had an awesome week. Always look for those opportunities to share the gospel. I know there out there. I've seen it they are there. Ok thats all, i gotta go. I love all of you and send you all my Aloha. Ofa Lahi Atu.!!! ps the picture is from last weeks sunrise hike.. it was siiiiiiiiiiiiiicccckkkkk!!!!!! Aloha!!

23 July

Hey Family!!!! This week was crazy ridiculous. We had those 5 Baptisms which was the highlight of the week by far. Its the 3 young boys the little 8 year old and then the man in the wheel chair..... who has on leg. It was such an awesome experience to see the family get baptized. its cool when you get to baptize just one person but when there is a family, holy cow these are the experiences that make me love my mission. Were having another baptism this coming up Saturday for the boy named Kim. He's cool. He always has lots of questions about where his dad is because he passed away about a year ago. But luckily for us we know what happens after death. We're right on Track to hitting Vision 100 over here in the H.H.M. and 24 Baptisms here in our zone for the month of July. We're pretty excited. Well this morning for Pday activity we did another sunrise hike. we hiked to Makapu'u Light house. There is a humpback whale but no whales this morning. maybe next time though. Well thats alls i got time for today, I love you all though. keep doin your thing. Aloha!!!

Talofa!!!

Well this week was really good. We had another Zone Exchange and you all know what happens during a zone exchange. We see crazy cool miracles. In our area alone we got 4 new gators and 3 with dates. Alright!!!!! Zone Exchanges are always fun. we always have a competition to see who can find the most miracles. The Zone Leaders take the winners to Dinner at Chillies... guess who won. Thats right me and Elder Ludovico! haha Me and my companion won last time too! Time for Chillies round Two. but also this week we had to move our baptism for august 6th. we really want him to be prepared. Also yesterday we went to the jackson 5's house. Those are the people we baptized last week anyways we gave all of them a blessing because school started today and they had a friend there who asked us if he can get baptized so we set a date with him for August 18th! and we gave him a blessing too. It was awesome they are such a fun family, and they make really good donuts and they teach us how to dance. its a good time. Haha we are practicing a hula for a Bithday party on the 10th i don't know how to shake it like all the other locals out here haha. it should be pretty fun. I'll take video and send it. Ok im outta time. I hope your all staying safe. Maholo for everything. Ofa Lahi Atu and Aloha!!!!
